Limpkins are plentiful at the park. But I never tire of seeing them. I watched this fella for a while and he was unable to acquire a snail, but was working very hard.

I am happy when I see them too. With all the recent rains here, we had one hunting in a usually dry retention pond on Sunday. Way cool – “limpkins in the burbs”
