
Young deer stashed along the edges of the wetlands while momma’s out an about. Apparently mothers shelter their young during the day until they are strong enough to walk and run along with them.

I was introduced to an entirely different habitat at the park Saturday. In amongst the hardwoods around the edges of the wetlands where the air plants grow.
