More birds – shocking I know! I’m seeking inspiration – while I had a a couple of good morning shoots this past weekend, I’m not at all satisfied with the resulting photos. I feel it’s time to head in a new direction, just haven’t seen it yet.

There were several flocks of ibis flying around. Not sure where they were going – they do not migrate as far as I know. Maybe just looking for greener pastures. In early July we had enormous flocks of glossy ibis flying around the wetlands.
I don’t think this guy was real happy to see me. Not that I’ve ever seen a heron smile – there is something about that look.
Even an approaching great egret or a snowy egret flying in can distract our guards!
