How interesting . . . I either did not know or had forgotten about Ms. Douglas. She sounds like a very cool person and Florida is lucky to have had her. I wonder if she and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings knew each other?
It is possible – they were contemporaries and I have to believe that women writers in Florida were a tight knit group. Thanks, I had forgotten Ms. Rawlings – I did love Cross Creek.
