I think the first bird is a American Coot. Nice picture.
I wondered that but the black band threw me off.
The one with a white bill, similar to a duck, is a Coot. I have them here.

It’s nice to get help isn’t it? I had a flock of Egyptian Geese show up and these kind folks helped me to identify them.

Top one is an American Coot and the bottom one is a flycatcher — possibly olive sided?
Flycatcher? Wouldn’t have thought that – I’ll hit the books tonight. I did notice the olive sided isn’t common around here (southeastern US) although the picture shows promise.
It looks a lot like the flycatchers I have seen in IL, WI and AR, but I’m not familiar with Florida birds, so let me know if you figure it out.
