Quick trip to DC for a conference. Need to brush up on taking pics with my old Panasonic point and shoot. Most came out awful. Lots a work little picture taking time – but here it is. View is National Harbor, MD on the Potomac River just outside of Washington DC.

I know that heron shots are very common, but I liked the lighting. Plus I am challenged into finding new ways to present one of the most common birds I shoot.
