Hummingbird

Hummingbird – Orlando Wetlands Park – August 2015

I’m going to try a new feature which will run periodically on either Tuesday or Thursday. It will of course have a picture and a bit of a message. I started out blogging, wanting to improve my writing skills and haven’t done that. I’m working on a bit about Rachel Carson, having just finished reading her biography. I’m going to try to have it ready for Thursday. Any ideas about how many words are enough – without being too many?

  1. I would say write your post and see, as it’s hard to say how many words is right! Around a 1000 can be read in about 5 minutes I guess, bearing in mind most people don’t have much spare time.
I also like to write and usually do so once a week. It is the writing that is important, and if people do have the time to read it, that’s great. If not, you have still improved your writing skills ๐Ÿ™‚

And it’s a great capture of the little humming bird. It almost looks like a painting. ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful hummingbird. My internet died in the midst of posting my first comment, which you may or may not have received. I look forward to your writing posts!
