There were several flocks of ibis flying around. Not sure where they were going – they do not migrate as far as I know. Maybe just looking for greener pastures. In early July we had enormous flocks of glossy ibis flying around the wetlands.

I saw a huge flock (100+) Ibis on Friday flying over the park here at home (didn’t have my camera) and was wondering exactly about the same question…where were they going. Hmm.
I’ll have to check with the experts the next time I’m at the wetlands. Maybe they know.
