Nothing quite like a smiling ‘gator under a heap of grass. And, speaking of bicycles, have you been down to Shark Valley on the Tamiami Trail? I’ve been there when the bike path was so full of alligators I’ve had to dismount and walk around them. Spring seems to be the most crowded time. (Don’t get between mamma and the nest – it gets splashy and noisy and scary. Getting between male and female is probably worse.)
Sleeping ๐ Amazing. Thank you dear Frank, love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Thank you!
That’s a lazy big one! Wow!
Yup he was a big one.

Late winter/spring is the worst up here – all the gators trying to keep warm.
