Here in FL we have Turkey Buzzards. Some say they they are downright ugly, but I say, watch them soar like eagles and say that again.
I think this may be a young turkey vulture – he lives in Florida too, I give tram tours at the Orlando Wetlands and always sing the praises of vultures. Image what it would be like without them clearing the carcasses of dead animals.
Everything in Nature serves a purpose – except humans.
