Experimenting with higher ISO. This was very early yesterday morning – ISO 1600. It helps, picture is still a bit dark overall but clearer than usual. Later in the morning I was able to handhold and make some pretty sharp pictures.

Warbler, wren? Not sure, I have difficulty identifying small bird. Cute though.
I continue to be fascinated by palm fronds. This one has the lighter area radiating from it’s stem. The patterns found in nature continue to amuse me.

This fellow was doing a sort of mating ritual – he was perched and would fly about in a perfect square of about 4 foot. I couldn’t spot the other birds he was trying to impress, perhaps he was practicing.

Only thing missing are the dinosaurs. These ferns were 4-5 foot high.
Next time at the park I’m going to carry my wide angle zoom for some different perspectives. I was limited by telephoto.
