Hummingbird – Orlando Wetlands Park – August 2015

I’m going to try a new feature which will run periodically on either Tuesday or Thursday. It will of course have a picture and a bit of a message. I started out blogging, wanting to improve my writing skills and haven’t done that. I’m working on a bit about Rachel Carson, having just finished reading her biography. I’m going to try to have it ready for Thursday. Any ideas about how many words are enough – without being too many?

Bees on Flower – Orlando Wetlands Park – July 2015

– Phil Chandler, The Barefoot Beekeeper.

So I didn;t have any good flower pics, so we must have bees eating from wildflower pics.

There were a pair of kingfishers flying about today – just a little too far for my lens. Here’s two pics with tight crops.
